Perhaps it is my human bias that drives me to such a conclusion, but I dare say that these ‘Kappuana’ , as the locals call them, seem to be among the dullest beasts I have yet come across… However, one must admit that they do seem quite content in their simple lives. Whereas I am here, in the middle of nowhere, covered in mud, unwashed, sore, and hungry, obsessing over an animal that I ultimately deem foolish… Perhaps, then, we are not entirely so different as I had once assumed, my dear Kappuana.
